The Mullen Broncos basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Hyannis Longhorns to 36 in the Broncos league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McPherson County for a D2 District 11 contest on Saturday, December 13. Mullen will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 77-12 non-league loss to Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 0-2.

The Longhorns (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Minatare (Minatare, NE). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Minatare was nudged by Sioux County (Harrison, NE), 46-24, in a league contest.
