Spectators at Friday's league match between the Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA) and the visiting Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA), witnessed Sanger's softball squad tip Edison by a count of 2-0.

The Apaches now sport a 26-6 record. They play next when they travel to Reedley for a County/Metro match on Tuesday, May 12. Sanger will face a Pirates squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-21.
