California High School Basketball - Notre Dame Academy holds off Immaculate Heart
January 25, 2011: Los Angeles, CA 90064 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Notre Dame Academy Regals (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Immaculate Heart Pandas (Los Angeles, CA), saw Notre Dame Academy's basketball squad hold off Immaculate Heart by a score of 49-45.
With the victory, Notre Dame Academy improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Regals host Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA) to play the Tigers in a Sunshine challenge on Thursday, January 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Ramona Convent won 48-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Mayfield (Pasadena, CA)
Next up, the Pandas play the Marlborough Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA) in a Sunshine challenge, on Thursday, January 27. Immaculate Heart will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 12-7 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA).

Props goes to Liz Mckinley who with 2 of our posts absent, grabbed 12 rebounds as well as the game start tip-off. Liz does a lot of the little things, the unselfish play that assists her teams success. She had 7 points for the game.
