Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS) and the host Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS), saw Scott Central's basketball squad trounce Newton County by a score of 49-27.

With the victory, Scott Central improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Newton (Newton, MS) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 19. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Newton won 39-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS)
