The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Cyclones come into the Central State Eight test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart-Griffin got by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 34-27, in a league test.
With the loss, Taylorville drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Southeast (Springfield, IL) to confront the Spartans in a Central State Eight test on Friday, September 2.
