Texas High School Basketball - Kingwood Park can't hold off Hardin-Jefferson
December 6, 2011: Kingwood, TX 77339 The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Kingwood Park Panthers to 29 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Brook for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Hardin-Jefferson will meet a Bruins team coming off a 39-35 non-league win over Ball (Galveston, TX). The Bruins record now stands at 6-1.
The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Panthers enter the 4A Region III District 18 contest with a 3-5 record.
