The Lee Volunteers (San Antonio, TX) basketball nipped the host Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 59-58 in Friday's non-league test.

The Volunteers (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Brennan (San Antonio, TX). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Brennan got by Steele (Cibolo, TX), 84-56, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingwood for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Taft will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 57-53 non-league loss to Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-8.
