Texas High School Football - Collinsville beaten by Era
October 7, 2005: Era, TX 76238 Era Hornets (Era, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team notch a victory over the visiting Collinsville Pirates (Collinsville, TX), 27-14 in a league game.
The Hornets (1-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Jo (St. Jo, TX). The Panthers enter the A Region II District 16 game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, St. Jo lost by Lindsay (St. Jo, TX), 42-0, in a league game.
The Pirates now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Petrolia for a A Region II District 16 game on Friday, October 14. Collinsville will meet a Pirates team coming off a 24-18 league loss to Era (Petrolia, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-4.
