Georgia High School Football - Monroe can't get by Crisp County
September 19, 2008: Albany, GA 31701 Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Monroe Tornadoes (Albany, GA), 14-12 in a league test.
With the triumph, Crisp County improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Westover (Albany, GA) to confront the Patriots in a 1-AAA test on Friday, September 26. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 4-0. Westover won 28-21 in their recent league test against Perry (Perry, GA)
With the loss, Monroe drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Cairo (Cairo, GA) to confront the Syrupmakers in a 1-AAA test on Friday, September 26. The Syrupmakers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Cairo won 10-7 in their recent non-league test against Thomasville (Thomasville, GA)
