New York High School Football - Dunkirk thwarted by East Aurora
September 22, 2006: East Aurora, NY 14052 East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they observed their football squad topple the visiting Dunkirk Marauders (Dunkirk, NY), 28-15 in a league challenge.
The Blue Devils now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Griffith Institute for a Section 6 B - South challenge on Friday, September 29. East Aurora will clash with a Griffins squad coming off a 14-7 league loss to Eden (Eden, NY). The Griffins record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Dunkirk moves to 1-3 on the campaign. The Marauders host Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY) to clash with the Steelers in a Section 6 B - South challenge on Friday, September 29. The Steelers go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Lackawanna won 43-12 in their recent league challenge against Southwestern (Jamestown, NY)
