The Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) football routed the visiting Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN), 34-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bees face the Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) in a AA District 8 bout, on Friday, September 5. Upperman will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Owls enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 38-6 non-league win over Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN).

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Clay County (Celina, TN). The Bulldogs enter the A District 7 bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Clay County walloped East Robertson (Cross Plains, TN), 14-6, in a non-league bout.
