August 30, 2011: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334 Pine Crest Panthers (Fort Lauderdale, FL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting King's Academy Lions (West Palm Beach, FL), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the University Suns (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a 4A District 13 match, on Friday, September 2. Pine Crest will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Suns come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Miami Country Day (Miami, FL).
With the loss, King's Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Highlands Christian (Pompano Beach, FL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 6.
