In Friday's non-league match, the host Cedar Hill Longhorns basketball team scored a good 56-45 triumph over the Bowie Volunteers.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 5. Cedar Hill will attempt to move on its 33-3 season record. The Marauders enter the match with a 35-1 record after their 49-43 non-league win over North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX).

With the defeat, Bowie moves to 21-12 on the year.
