Texas High School Football - New Home topples O'Donnell
October 18, 2013: New Home, TX 79383 The New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) football defeated the visiting O'Donnell Eagles (O'Donnell, TX), 43-35 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Leopards face the Wilson Mustangs (Wilson, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) game, on Friday, October 25. New Home will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 58-12 non-league loss to Whitharral (Whitharral, TX).
The Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grady for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 4 (6 Man) game on Friday, October 25. O'Donnell will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 62-16 non-league loss to Garden City (Garden City, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
