The Vega Longhorns routed the visiting Boys Ranch Roughriders basketball team by a final score of 70-32 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the White Deer Bucks (White Deer, TX) in a 1A-1 Region I District 2 game, on Tuesday, January 25. Vega will attempt to move on its 18-11 season record. The Bucks enter the game with a 2-14 record after their 66-15 league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX).
