Utah High School Baseball - Layton gets by Granger
March 19, 2011: West Valley City, UT 84119 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) and the host Granger Lancers (West Valley City, UT), saw Layton's baseball squad beat Granger by a margin of 10-8.
Coming up next, the Lancers play the Fremont Silver Wolves (Plain City, UT) in a 5A Region 1 battle, on Tuesday, March 22. Layton will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
The Lancers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bountiful for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 23. Granger will play a Braves squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Cyprus (Magna, UT). The Braves record now stands at 4-0.
