New York High School Football - Holy Trinity defeats Kellenberg Memorial
September 13, 2008: Hicksville, NY 11801 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Holy Trinity Titans football squad scored a good 35-6 victory over the Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds.
In their next game, the Titans clash with the St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) in a Catholic AAA match, on Friday, September 19. Holy Trinity will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Friars enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 52-14 non-league win over Delbarton (Morristown, NJ).
With the loss, Kellenberg Memorial drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY) to confront the Cardinals in a Catholic AA-A test on Sunday, September 21. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 1-1. Cardinal Hayes won 33-32 in their recent league test against Christ the King (Middle Village, NY)
