California High School Football - Mira Loma overwhelmed by Del Campo
October 12, 2006: Fair Oaks, CA 95628 Del Campo Cougars (Fair Oaks, CA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad crush the visiting Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA), 53-0 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Americano for a Capital challenge on Saturday, October 21. Del Campo will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 34-33 league win over Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Mira Loma moves to 2-4 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA) to clash with the Rams in a Capital challenge on Friday, October 20.
