December 18, 2010: Bardstown, KY 40004 The Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), 56-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Holy Cross (Louisville, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Holy Cross got by Western (Louisville, KY), 53-37, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Livingston Central for a non-league test on Thursday, December 30. Webster County will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 71-51 non-league win over Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-1.
