September 19, 2014: Oil City, PA 16301 General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA), 32-29 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, General McLane improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lancers host Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-0. Conneaut Area won 43-8 in their recent non-league test against Strong Vincent (Erie, PA)
With the loss, Oil City drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY) to confront the Lancers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 2-1. St. Mary's lost 38-14 in their recent league test against Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY)
