Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Ocean Lakes Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Ocean Lakes's basketball squad hold off Tallwood by a tally of 54-48.

The Dolphins (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Comets go into the 6A Conference 1 test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Granby was tipped by First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA), 41-34, in a league test.
