Missouri High School Basketball - Bayless topped by Howell Central
January 12, 2013: St. Charles, MO 63304 The Howell Central Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Bayless Bronchos to 49 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Troy-Buchanan for a Gateway - South contest on Tuesday, January 15. Howell Central will meet a Trojans team coming off a 60-55 league loss to Howell North (St. Charles, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 7-7.
The Bronchos (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clayton (St. Louis, MO). The Greyhounds come into the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Clayton was defeated by Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO), 56-53, in a non-league contest.
