The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Palmer (Marks, MS). The Dragons come into the 3A Region 2 game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Palmer was knocked off by North Panola (Sardis, MS), 58-14, in a league game.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Holly Springs for a 3A Region 2 game on Friday, October 17. Independence will meet a Hawks team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.
