Oregon High School Volleyball - North Salem edged by Grant
October 15, 2011: Portland, OR 97212 The Grant Generals held off the visiting North Salem Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Generals now have a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 18. Grant will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Hillsboro, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 10-6.
The Vikings (7-9) will now prepare for their test against South Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons enter the 6A Central Valley test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, South Salem was nudged by Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR), 2-0, in a non-league test.
