Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), 59-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mission Viejo upgrades its record to 19-0 on the campaign. The Diablos host Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Cougars in a South Coast bout on Wednesday, January 19. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 16-4. Capistrano Valley won 53-38 in their recent league bout against Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA)

Next up, the Chargers play the Tesoro Titans (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) in a South Coast bout, on Wednesday, January 19. El Toro will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
