Mississippi High School Basketball - Brandon fells Pearl

Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), 64-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brandon upgrades its record to 17-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS) to clash with the Gators in a non-league bout on Friday, February 8. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Vicksburg won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against McComb (McComb, MS)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS) in a 5A Region 6 bout, on Friday, February 8. Pearl will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 61-38 league loss to McComb (McComb, MS).
