California High School Basketball - Lincoln County holds off Needles

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV) and the host Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA), saw Lincoln County's basketball squad hold off Needles by a tally of 46-44.

With the victory, Lincoln County improves its record to 14-12 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Laughlin (Laughlin, NV) to confront the Cougars in a III Southern challenge on Saturday, February 7. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-17. Laughlin lost 70-48 in their recent league challenge against White Pine (Ely, NV)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) in a III Southern challenge, on Saturday, February 7. Needles will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 70-48 league win over Laughlin (Laughlin, NV).
