September 5, 2014: Section, AL 35771 The Section Lions (Section, AL) football overcame the visiting Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL), 35-15 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Lions face the Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL) in a 2A Region 7 bout, on Friday, September 12. Section will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 54-20 league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL).
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Ider (Ider, AL). The Hornets enter the 2A Region 7 bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Ider thwarted Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL), 29-0, in a non-league game.
