The Thunderhawks now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duluth Central for a North Country match on Friday, October 10. Grand Rapids will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 20-7 league loss to Thief River Falls (Thief River Falls, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
The Green Wave (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN). The Cowboys enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Breckenridge dropped by Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN), 44-22, in a league match.
