March 10, 2011: Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Costa Mesa Mustangs (Costa Mesa, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Artesia Pioneers (Lakewood, CA), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Costa Mesa upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA) to battle the Lobos in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 15. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Artesia falls to 0-1 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, March 11. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 0-1. Valley Christian lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA)
