North Carolina High School Football - Patton tips West Caldwell
September 10, 2010: Morganton, NC 28655 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) and the visiting West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), witnessed Patton's football squad tip West Caldwell by a margin of 34-27.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 17. Patton will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 33-21 non-league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their match against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the 2A Catawba Valley match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, South Iredell held off Statesville (Statesville, NC), 45-36, in a non-league match.
