The Jones Trojans topped the visiting Calhoun Sandcrabs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans now have a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gregory-Portland for a 4A Region IV District 30 test on Friday, October 3. Jones will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-8.

The Sandcrabs (4-14) will now prepare for their test against Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Trojans enter the 4A Region IV District 30 test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Moody was knocked off by Ray (Corpus Christi, TX), 3-1, in a league test.
