Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL) and the visiting Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL), saw Gaston's basketball squad hold off Hokes Bluff by a score of 50-46.

With the victory, Gaston improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL) to play the Conquerors in a 1A Area 11 challenge on Friday, December 3. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Coosa Christian lost 66-25 in their recent league challenge against Ragland (Ragland, AL)
