The West Side Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting East Chicago Central Cardinals to 60 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fall Creek Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Cardinals (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Adams (South Bend, IN). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Adams nudged Roosevelt (Gary, IN), 82-43, in a non-league contest.
