The Torrey Pines Falcons suffered their first loss of the seson yesterday losing to San Marcos 3-0 at Falcon Field in an added game to the schedule. The Falcons and the Knights were locked in a scoreless pitching duel between San Marcos-Christina Clermont (Syracuse) and Torrey Pines-Rachel Nasland (Notre Dame) into the 5th inning when San Marcos scored an un-earned run to take a 1-0 lead. San Marcos used a bloop Single to Left field, a sacrifice bunt, a wild pitch and a 2 out 2 strike passed ball to score a run. San Marcos added 2 more runs in the 7th on a hit batter, another bloop Single to left Field and a booming 2 run Double by Clermont to seal the win.
