Missouri High School Basketball - West County overwhelms Herculaneum
February 25, 2010: Leadwood, MO 63601 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) and the visiting Herculaneum Black Cats (Herculaneum, MO), saw West County's basketball squad trounce Herculaneum by a score of 58-27.
With the victory, West County improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Valley Park (Valley Park, MO) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 27. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Valley Park won 54-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Crossroads (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Black Cats battle the Kennedy Celts (Manchester, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 27. Herculaneum will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Celts come into the challenge with a 6-18 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Festus, MO).
