Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lampeter-Strasburg succumbs to Donegal
January 2, 2009: Mt. Joy, PA 17552 The Donegal Indians topped the visiting Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers basketball team by a final score of 45-37 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Indians face the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders (Myerstown, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 game, on Monday, January 5. Donegal will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 53-48 non-league loss to Cocalico (Denver, PA).
With the defeat, Lampeter-Strasburg moves to 0-8 on the year. The Pioneers host Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA) to face the Dutchmen in a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 game on Friday, January 2. The Dutchmen enter the game with a record of 6-4. Annville-Cleona lost 43-31 in their recent non-league game against Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA)
