New York High School Football - Olean sneaks past Griffith Institute
September 13, 2014: Olean, NY 14760 The Olean Huskies football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins to 18 in the Huskies league victory on Saturday.
The Huskies now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bradford for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Olean will face a Owls squad coming off a 42-21 league loss to Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Owls record now stands at 0-3.
Coming up next, the Griffins face the Eden/North Collins Raiders (Eden, NY) in a Section 6 B - South battle, on Friday, September 19. Griffith Institute will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 54-14 league loss to Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY).
