In Tuesday's league outing, the host Cactus Shadows Falcons softball team scored a close 8-4 win over the Saguaro Sabercats.

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky outing, on Thursday, April 28. Cactus Shadows will attempt to upgrade on its 19-8 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 8-19 record after their 8-4 league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ).

The Sabercats (19-8) will now prepare for their outing against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Desert Sky outing with a 20-9 record. In their last outing, Queen Creek tipped Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ), 19-0, in a league outing.

Great comeback by the Falcons, surging ahead 8-4 in the 6th inning, being sparked by Kristin Hillier's lead-off homerun, which led to the Falcons going through their entire order. Camille McIver with the win, coming in with 9 strikeouts and 3 earned runs. Gracie Goulder was a menace on the bases, scoring from second base on a passed ball. Senior Night was truly a spectacular night!
