In Friday's league match, the host Community Braves basketball team scored a good 76-63 triumph over the Ford Panthers.

In their next game, the Braves confront the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 match, on Tuesday, January 27. Community will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 5-10 record after their 40-35 league win over Lovejoy (Lucas, TX).

With the defeat, Ford moves to 18-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX) to confront the Leopards in a 3A Region II District 13 match on Friday, January 30. The Leopards enter the match with a record of 12-11.
