The South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) football defeated the host Diamond Bar Brahmas (Diamond Bar, CA), 40-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) in a Palomares bout, on Friday, October 17. South Hills will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 49-13 league loss to Glendora (Glendora, CA).

The Brahmas (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Claremont (Claremont, CA). The Wolfpack enter the Palomares bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Claremont lost by Ayala (Chino Hills, CA), 33-14, in a league bout.
