California High School Basketball - Granite Bay can't hold off Nevada Union
February 8, 2012: Granite Bay, CA 95746 The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Granite Bay Grizzlies to 39 in the Miners league victory on Wednesday.
The Miners now sport a 14-10 record. They play next when they host Del Oro for a Sierra Foothill contest on Friday, February 10. Nevada Union will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 61-46 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 16-8.
The Grizzlies (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Tigers come into the Sierra Foothill contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Roseville edged Rocklin (Rocklin, CA), 51-49, in a league contest.
