Colorado High School Basketball - Monarch fells Rocky Mountain
January 16, 2009: Louisville, CO 80027 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) and the visiting Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO), saw Monarch's basketball squad overcome Rocky Mountain by a count of 60-44.
With the victory, Monarch upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Fairview (Boulder, CO) to play the Knights in a 5A Front Range challenge on Tuesday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Fairview won 71-20 in their recent league challenge against Thornton (Thornton, CO)
Next up, the Lobos play the Loveland Indians (Loveland, CO) in a 5A Front Range challenge, on Tuesday, January 20. Rocky Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 64-42 league win over Mountain Range (Westminster, CO).
