April 3, 2009: Gilbert, AZ 85297 The Cortez Colts softball team (Phoenix, AZ), was routed 17-3 in Friday's league test with the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ)
Coming up next, the Knights clash with the Queen Creek Bulldogs (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 4A East Sky test, on Tuesday, April 7. Higley will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 8-10 record after their 25-0 league win over Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ).
The Colts (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Buckeye was routed by Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ), 1-0, in a league test.
