Virginia High School Basketball - Miller holds off Vaux

December 22, 2012: Charlottesville, VA 22903

Miller Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Vaux (Philadelphia, PA), 80-76 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Miller upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 27. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 10-1. High Point Christian Academy won 57-51 in their recent non-league bout against Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Next up, the play the Constitution Generals (Philadelphia, PA) in a Philadelphia Public A bout, on Tuesday, January 8. Vaux will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
