Missouri High School Basketball - Pilot Grove nips New Franklin
January 10, 2012: New Franklin, MO 65274 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pilot Grove Tigers (Pilot Grove, MO) and the host New Franklin Bulldogs (New Franklin, MO), saw Pilot Grove's basketball squad hold off New Franklin by a score of 58-57.
With the victory, Pilot Grove improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Westran (Huntsville, MO) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Westran won 64-56 in their recent league challenge against Paris (Paris, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO) in a Central challenge, on Friday, January 13. New Franklin will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 66-54 league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, MO).
