In Friday's league match, the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats football squad scored a good 28-14 victory over the Norwin Knights.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Foothills match, on Friday, October 28. Greater Latrobe will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 42-0 league loss to McKeesport (McKeesport, PA).

The Knights (0-8) will now prepare for their bout against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors enter the WPIAL AAAA Foothills bout with a 8-0 record. In their last bout, Penn-Trafford defeated Indiana (Indiana, PA), 38-28, in a non-league bout.
