Louisiana High School Football - Church Point beaten by Notre Dame
October 13, 2005: Church Point, LA 70525 Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA) fans were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their football team notch a victory over the host Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA), 40-14 in a league game.
The Pioneers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Raiders enter the 3A District 5 game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Northwest lost by Rayne (Opelousas, LA), 14-7, in a league game.
Next up, the Bears meet the Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA) in a 3A District 5 game, on Friday, October 21. Church Point will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 35-7 league loss to Crowley (Rayne, LA).
