October 17, 2008: Falmouth, KY 41040 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) and the host Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), observed Nicholas County's football squad defeat Pendleton County by a count of 41-21.
The Bluejackets now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Raceland for a 1A District 5 contest on Friday, October 24. Nicholas County will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 51-12 non-league win over Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Rams record now stands at 7-0.
