The Esperanza Aztecs softball team scored 6 points and limited the visiting El Modena Vanguards to 5 in the Aztecs league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Esperanza moves its record to 18-1 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a Century game on Tuesday, April 26. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 6-11.

In their next game, the Vanguards clash with the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 23. El Modena will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record.
